Lucid glass canopy sunshades for heat and glare
By ReferCharge. Updated 2026-08-18.
Air and Gravity use different roof shapes, so the shade sets are model-specific. A fitted mesh set adds a removable layer between occupants and direct light without applying film to the glass.
What the Lucid sets claim
AIR
Three shade panels
- Two front pieces and one rear piece.
- Lucid says the mesh blocks more than 80 percent of light transmission.
GRAVITY
Different three-panel set
- Two front pieces and one rear piece for Gravity's canopy.
- Lucid makes the same light-blocking statement for this separate set.
Those package and light-transmission statements come from the linked Lucid product pages below. They are maker claims, not a cabin-temperature measurement by ReferCharge.
Safe fitting order
- 1Park safely and let the cabin cool before reaching overhead.
- 2Identify the front-left, front-right and rear pieces before fitting clips.
- 3Follow the maker's clip locations so no edge hangs into the driver's view.
- 4Remove and store the set if any piece sags, shifts or obstructs visibility.
- Buy the Air set only for Air and the Gravity set only for Gravity.
- Count the clips before installation and keep spares in the carry bag.
- Do not install or remove overhead shades while the vehicle is moving.
Model-specific canopy sets
We do not own a Lucid, so nothing below is a hands-on review. Each pick is checked for fitment against the maker's own listed compatibility, and we say plainly where owners report problems or where Lucid's own part is the safer choice.
