How to choose Rivian cargo liners and R1T bed mats

Match the liner to a specific compartment, vehicle and model year. A molded tray can make cleanup easier, but it does not add sealing or change how cargo should be secured.
Check every compartment separately
- Identify the compartment: frunk, R1S rear cargo area and R1T bed use different shapes.
- Treat Gen 1 as 2022–2024 and Gen 2 as 2025+, and rely only on model years named by the listing.
- Confirm that access panels, tie-downs, drains and latches remain usable after the liner is placed.
- For an R1T bed mat, check the listing names the R1T; the R1S has no truck bed.

- A liner does not change the compartment's sealing or load limits.

- Add a removable surface between cargo and the bed floor.
- Must not cover hardware or interfere with the tailgate and bed features.
Remove a liner that shifts, blocks hardware or prevents a panel from closing normally. Secure cargo independently of the liner.

Is a cargo liner the same as a frunk liner?
Not necessarily. Listings may use cargo liner for the rear cargo area, the frunk or both. Confirm the compartment shown and named before ordering.
Can an R1T bed mat be used in an R1S?
No. An R1T bed mat is shaped for the pickup bed, and the R1S has no bed. Choose an R1S cargo-area liner instead.
Do Gen 1 liners fit Gen 2 vehicles?
Only when the maker lists both relevant year ranges. Gen 1 is 2022–2024 and Gen 2 is 2025+ for this guide.
How should a cargo liner be cleaned?
Remove loose cargo, lift the liner out and follow its maker's cleaning directions. Dry the liner and the surface below it before reinstalling.
